What Students Will Learn

In this 3-day beginner guitar workshop, students will learn:
- 6 beginning guitar chords
- Basic rhythm and strumming patterns
- Two songs for a live Friday showcase
- Confidence through performance and collaboration

Students will gain hands-on musical experience in a fun, encouraging environment while learning alongside other aspiring young musicians.

Friday Family Showcase

At the end of the workshop, students will perform the songs they learned for parents and families during a special Friday showcase celebration.

Meet The Instructor

Kevin Farmer, founder of KF Music Studio, brings more than 22 years of musical experience as a performer, educator, worship leader, and mentor. A graduate of Bluffton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business, Kevin has dedicated his career to developing creativity, confidence, musicianship, and character in the next generation. His background includes six years as a classroom music educator, leadership roles in worship and family ministries, and extensive experience performing and teaching multiple instruments. Kevin’s engaging, encouraging teaching style helps students feel comfortable, inspired, and excited to learn music in a fun and supportive environment.
