High School Homeschool Enrichment Program

Winter Garden, FL

Ages 14–18 | One Day. Real Skills. Real Life.

School Doesn’t Teach This.

We Do.

Most high school programs prepare students to pass tests.

We prepare them to handle real life.

At Plant Street Academy, students develop the skills that actually matter:
✔ Confidence
✔ Communication
✔ Critical thinking
✔ Decision-making
✔ Real-world awareness

Because no matter what path your teen chooses - college, career, business, or something entirely different - they’ll need these.

A High-Impact Weekly Experience

Wednesdays | 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM

This is not “just one day a week.”

This is a 5-hour immersive experience designed to build real-world capability.

That’s 20 hours per month of integrated, hands-on learning

What Students Actually Learn

This program is built around real-life application—not theory.

Unmuted Level 3: Communication as a Superpower

Public speaking is just the beginning.

Students learn how to:

  • Navigate job and real-world interviews (STAR Method)

  • Handle salary negotiations with confidence

  • Network and communicate in real social settings

  • De-escalate conflict and manage difficult conversations

This is where fear turns into confidence.

Where hesitation turns into presence.

Global Horizons: Understanding the World We Actually Live In

This is not memorizing maps.

This is understanding:

  • How global economies really work

  • Why cultures matter in business and life

  • How world events impact everyday decisions

Students connect the dots between countries, industries, and real life.

Clear Thinking & Good Choices

Most people feel when something is wrong.
Very few can explain why.

In this class, students learn to:

  • Identify flawed logic and manipulation

  • Break down arguments and think independently

  • Navigate complex ethical decisions

This is where thinking becomes intentional and powerful.

Inventions 2: The Truth Behind Innovation

Innovation isn’t clean. It’s complicated.

Students explore:

  • The real stories behind major inventions

  • The unintended consequences of innovation

  • Who benefits and who doesn’t

They don’t just learn history.
They learn how to question it, analyze it, and think critically about it.

What This Means for Your Teen

✔ 5 hours per week of structured development
✔ 20 hours per month of real-world learning
✔ Small group environment (only 25 students)

Approximate cost: $19/hour

Less than most extracurriculars with significantly more impact.

Built for What Comes Next

This program is for teens who:

  • Need more than traditional academics

  • Want to build confidence and independence

  • Are preparing for real-life situations—not just tests

  • Benefit from structure, mentorship, and peer interaction

Scholarship Friendly

We are an approved provider through Step Up For Students.

Eligible families may use scholarship funds toward enrollment.
