Leadership Studio with Coach Dan

Leadership isn’t just about being in charge. For young people, it starts with learning who they are, what they stand for, how they respond to pressure, and how they handle relationships, setbacks, and difficult choices.

Designed for teens 14+

Leaders Aren’t Just Born. They’re Developed.

Some students naturally speak up. Some are confident in a crowd. Others are quieter and prefer to stay in the background. None of those things determine whether a young person can become a leader.

Leadership is a skill and it can be learned.

Without learning what real leadership looks like, young people can easily mistake popularity for influence, confidence for character, or being in charge for actually leading. But true leadership is about much more. It’s about making good decisions, solving problems, developing self-discipline, serving others, building strong relationships, and having the vision to positively influence the people around you.

Leadership Studio: Developing the Leader Within You

A 4-Week Student Leadership Series

Without learning what real leadership looks like, young people can easily mistake popularity for influence, confidence for character, or being in charge for actually leading. But true leadership is about much more. It’s about making good decisions, solving problems, developing self-discipline, serving others, building strong relationships, and having the vision to positively influence the people around you.

Developing the Leader Within You is a four-week Student Leadership Series facilitated by Coach Dan at Plant Street Academy in Winter Garden. Through interactive two-hour sessions, students will discover that everyone has the capacity to lead and learn the foundational skills to begin developing the leader within themselves.

What Students Will Learn

Leadership 101: What Is a Leader?
Students explore the definition of leadership, the Five Levels of Leadership, and the three keys to becoming a leader, beginning with the foundation of leadership: character.

Leadership 201: Four Qualities of a Leader
Students develop four essential leadership qualities: influence, priorities, problem-solving, and attitude.

Leadership 301: Four Defining Factors of a Leader
Leadership moves beyond the individual. Students explore serving others, self-discipline, personal growth, and vision and how each shapes the kind of leader they become.

Leadership 401: The Key - Relationships & Real Success
Students bring everything together by learning the importance of relationships and why successful leadership is ultimately measured by our ability to elevate the people around us.

The goal isn't simply to teach students how to lead a crowd. It's to help them develop the character, influence, discipline, vision, and relationships necessary to make an impact and eventually leave a legacy.

Forged to Succeed

A 4-Week Mental Performance & Personal Development Series for Teens

The Teenage Years Are a Battle of the Mind

Teenagers today are growing up surrounded by constant input - social media, comparison, expectations, peer pressure, opinions, and an endless stream of messages telling them who they should be. At the same time, they’re trying to figure out something even more important:

Who am I?

What am I capable of?

And where am I going?

Without the tools to understand themselves and manage those influences, negative thoughts can become limiting beliefs. Comparison can affect self-image. Poor communication can create conflict. And goals can remain ideas without the discipline and mindset needed to pursue them.

Forged to Succeed is a four-week Mental Performance Series facilitated by Coach Dan at Plant Street Academy in Winter Garden. Through four interactive two-hour workshops, students develop practical tools to better understand themselves, manage their thoughts, navigate outside influences, and intentionally work toward a life of purpose and success.

What Students Will Learn

Week 1 – The Book of You
Students explore different communication styles and learn how understanding themselves, and the way others communicate, can strengthen confidence, relationships, and everyday interactions.

Week 2 – Control Your Thoughts Before They Control You
Students examine the connection between thoughts, attitudes, choices, and actions while developing strategies for recognizing and challenging negative thought patterns.

Week 3 – Social Media, Identity & Self-Image
An important conversation about comparison, online influence, identity, and how social media can shape the way young people see themselves and their world.

Week 4 – Setting Goals & Achieving Them
Students learn how to move from simply wanting something to creating intentional goals, taking action, overcoming obstacles, and developing habits that support long-term success. The transition from child to teenager and eventually adulthood isn't only physical, it's mental. Forged to Succeed helps students strengthen the mindset, self-awareness, communication, and goal-setting skills they need to navigate those years with greater purpose and confidence.
